Vineyards and olive trees are prominently featured in Tuscany landscapes so that in time they have become somehow the regional crest. A few areas present such a strong vocation to grow vineyards that valleys and hills are covered by these plants and create a landscape whose beauty overgrows that of the common ads and promotional tourism videos. In the Fall, when yellow, orange, red and caramel leaves cover the ground and shine in the pure light of the first cold mornings in Valdorcia, Chianti or the florentine hills, going around those places is like visiting the Sistine Chapel: you may see the hand of God. 
Experts believe that the Latin word vinum, the Italian vino, comes from the Sanskrit vena that means “to love”. And that to explain the good, healthy and unbreakable bond between mankind and wine. In Tuscany, though, things get more complicated since this bond is so deeply rooted that it goes back to prehistorical eras.
